Between a painted truck and a stainless one there is a large middle ground: unheated halls, open sheds, yards, ports and cold rooms where moisture is constant but the truck is not washed down with chemicals every day. A zinc coating over the whole chassis and forks covers exactly that ground at a fraction of the cost of stainless steel.
