The mechanical assist pallet truck moves a full 2500 kg pallet with around 90% less pulling effort than an ordinary hand pallet truck. Instead of dragging the load, the operator pumps the tiller: a mechanical power-assist drive in the chassis turns each stroke into forward travel, so the truck walks the pallet along. There is no battery, no charger and no electronics to look after — the help comes purely from the mechanism, which keeps servicing as simple as on a standard manual truck.
Key features
- Mechanical power-assist drive — around 90% less pull force with a full load compared with a conventional truck
- Reverse brake function stops the truck sliding backwards on a slope
- 2500 kg capacity with a 200 mm maximum lift height (190 mm on the ø180 mm wheel version)
- Fork lengths of 1100, 1150 or 1220 mm in 520, 550 or 685 mm overall width
- Service weight of only 65-77 kg, in line with a conventional manual pallet truck
Where it pays off
- Long runs across large warehouses, where repeated full-load pulls wear the operator down
- Ramps and sloping loading bays, thanks to the reverse brake
- Areas where charging an electric truck is impractical, such as cold stores or food and pharmaceutical production
- Workplace safety programmes that target lower push and pull forces for staff
How it is operated
- Lift the forks and leave the tiller in the neutral position.
- Pull the power-assist lever on the left of the tiller down to its bottom position.
- Pump the tiller — every stroke drives the truck forward, so even a loaded pallet is easy to set in motion.
Configuration
Two chassis versions are available: ø200 mm steering wheels with an 85 mm lowered fork height, 200 mm lift and 40 mm ground clearance, or ø180 mm steering wheels with a 75 mm lowered fork height, 190 mm lift and 30 mm ground clearance. Fork rollers are supplied single (ø80x93 or ø74x93 mm) or tandem (ø80x70 or ø74x70 mm).
