How will you use this hoist?
Pick the closest match. Each duty class has its own capacity envelope: the heavier the use, the lower the rated weight. Selecting a class lighter than your real-world use voids the manufacturer warranty and risks motor failure. If unsure, pick the highest expected class — the hoist you actually need.

The GIS GPS synchronised models pair two GP electric chain hoists on a rigid connection shaft: both chains rise and fall in perfect sync, so long or bulky goods stay level without an operator balancing two pendants. The central control switches both motors simultaneously and the load hangs on two hooks at a factory-set distance matched to your goods.
Key features
- Two electric chain hoists connected by a rigid shaft — absolutely parallel lifting and lowering of long transport goods, both motors switched simultaneously by the central control in hoist A
- The geared limit switch sits in hoist B and acts for both hoists through the mechanical connection
- Direct chain outlet — the pair lifts twice the nominal load of the single hoists: GPS 500 up to 2 × 1250 kg, GPS 1000 up to 2 × 2500 kg (2 chain falls)
- Hook distance defined by the customer in advance and built at the factory: 700 mm to 5000 mm (GPS 1000 from 800 mm); from 3000 mm the connection shaft is additionally supported
- Rotatable eyebolt suspensions (standard) allow driving on curves in suspension systems
- Speed profiles: two-speed NF 8/2 m/min (default), fast SF 16/4 m/min, or frequency-controlled N FU / NL FU with soft start for swing-free handling of delicate long goods
- Motors protected by temperature monitoring as standard; delivered fully equipped — chains levelled, end positions set, hoists electrically connected
- Optional safety radio remote control (one 2-button radio drives the whole pair) and operating data counter
- Protection class IP33, insulation class F, load hooks DIN 15401; 3-phase mains 3 × 400 V / 50 Hz
- Complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC

Capacities are per hook (2 hooks per pair); dead weights exclude the connection shaft, which depends on the factory-set hook distance (700–5000 mm; from 3000 mm with an additional shaft support). Hoist A carries the central control, hoist B the geared limit switch. Motors include temperature monitoring as standard; protection class IP33, 3-phase mains only. Values follow the Special models manual 9500.9004.1 (tables 5-1/5-2) and datasheets 9511.9209.5 / 9511.9216.5 / 9515.9206.5 / 9515.9207.5.
