Spreader Beams

Lifting beams and spreader beams for stable multi-point lifting: fixed, adjustable, telescopic, modular and big-bag versions up to 10 t.

Spreader and lifting beams

A spreader beam turns one crane hook into two or more controlled lifting points, keeping slings vertical and the load stable — the answer whenever a load is too long, too flexible or too sensitive to hang from a single point. Fixed spreader beams are the simple, economical choice for a known load; adjustable beams move their lifting points to suit changing formats; modular beam systems assemble into H-frames and custom geometries up to 10 t; and the cross beam for big-bag sacks picks up all four loops of an FIBC at once.

Between the beam and the load you still need the right slings — webbing slings, round slings or chain slings — matched to the load surface and weight. Contact us with the load dimensions, weight and pick-up points and we will configure the complete lifting arrangement.

Frequently asked questions

When do I need a spreader beam instead of just slings?

When slinging from one point would compress or bend the load (long profiles, panels, machines with defined lifting points), when the sling angle would get too steep, or when the load must hang level. The beam keeps sling legs vertical and the geometry under control.

Fixed, adjustable or modular beam?

Fixed beams are lightest and cheapest for a repeating load. Adjustable beams cover changing load widths with movable lifting points. Modular systems build two-dimensional frames (H-frames) and special geometries from standard components — the route for mixed or unusual loads.

What information do you need for a quote?

Load weight and dimensions, the positions of usable pick-up points, the available headroom under the crane hook and how the load formats vary. From that we spec the beam, the slings and the shackles as one certified arrangement.
