How will you use the electric hoist?
Each duty class has its own capacity envelope: the heavier the use, the lower the rated weight, so a heavier class may pull a larger GP sub-model. Selecting a class lighter than your real-world use voids the manufacturer warranty and risks motor failure.

The MCPD (Comege PORTMOT) is a motorized workshop gantry crane: a self-propelled portal frame that rolls along the floor, carrying an electric chain hoist on its beam for flexible lifting anywhere in the bay without fixed runways.
Key features
- Motorized travel on two powered, non-swivel polyurethane drive wheels + two swivelling castor wheels, for indoor use on a smooth, clean concrete floor (max slope 2 %)
- Capacity 1000-10000 kg; spans 3-12 m; height under beam 3-6 m
- Mobile pendant control (low voltage 48 V); two travel speeds 10 / 20 m/min with inverter; gantry slews by inverting the two drive motors; reversing switch on the pendant
- Add a GIS GP electric chain hoist in the configurator; the hoist + motorized trolley + travel motor set the total installation power
- Wireless remote control (optionally with proportional travel for free-direction 'crawler-dozer' movement)
- Cable reel (Enrouleur) and autonomous battery packs are offered only in the power class that matches the complete installation
- 4 safety full stops as standard; grinding SA 2.5 + 60 µm C2 polyester powder paint, RAL 1028 yellow; max hoisting speed 16 m/min
- Complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
