Polyester lifting slings
Polyester slings are the everyday choice for loads whose surface matters: soft on paint and machined faces, a fraction of the weight of chain, and colour-coded so the working load limit is readable at a glance. The programme has two constructions. Endless round slings (BKP, 1–20 t) adapt their shape to the load and excel in choke hitches, with wear spread around the rotating sleeve. Webbing slings with loops (TPO, 1–20 t) give a defined flat bearing surface and drop straight onto hooks and shackles.
For sharp-edged, hot or abrasive loads step up to chain slings, and for multi-point lifts combine the slings with a spreader beam. Contact us for help sizing slings and hitches for your loads.
Frequently asked questions
Round sling or webbing sling?
Round slings conform to the load and are strongest in choke hitches; webbing slings offer a flat bearing surface and quick attachment by their loops. Many riggers stock both and pick per lift — the capacity ladders are identical (1–20 t).
What do the colours mean?
Each capacity class has a fixed colour across textile slings, so a rigger identifies the working load limit at a glance. The stitched label with WLL and hitch factors remains the authoritative source.
