Fixed Spreader Beams
Fixed spreader beams
For a load that repeats, the fixed spreader beam is the simplest and most economical way to get two controlled lifting points: welded suspension points, no moving parts, nothing to adjust or maintain. The programme covers the standard FNG (1000–10 000 kg, 1–6 m), the ECO version FENG, the spreader bar FPG and the aluminium FANG (125–2000 kg) where dead weight matters.
If load widths vary, an adjustable beam adapts its hook positions; for four-point and project lifts see modular systems. Contact us with load, span and headroom and we will pick the beam and slings.
Frequently asked questions
Spreader beam or spreader bar — what is the difference?
A spreader beam hangs from one central point and spreads the load to two end points. A spreader bar is rigged from both ends and works in compression. Which geometry fits depends on headroom and how the crane connects — we advise per case.
Why choose the aluminium version?
The FANG weighs a fraction of a steel beam, which preserves crane capacity and spares the riggers — the pick for smaller cranes and frequent manual handling, covering 125–2000 kg.
